Suuri 50-vuotisjuhlajulkaisu.
Huumorilehti Pahkasika perustettiin vuonna 1975. Se ilmestyi säännöllisesti vuoteen 2000 saakka.
Tämän suomalaisen huumorin lippulaivan 50-vuotisjuhlan kunniaksi Pahkasian vanha kaarti on koonnut vielä viimeisen kerran voimansa ja päkittänyt kasaan definitiivisen (ei muuta kuin googlettamaan!) Pahkasian numeron.
Tiesitkö, että viemäröinti otettiin käyttöön 500 eKr, jotta paska saatiin piiloon?
Internet otettiin käyttöön 1980-luvulla, jotta paska saatiin taas näkyviin.
2020-luvulla otettiin käyttöön tekoäly, jotta paskan tuotanto saatiin automatisoitua.
Helsinkiin ei saatu autoille keskustatunnelia, joten liikenneongelmat ratkaistaan rakentamalla teräspalkkien päälle kymmenen metrin korkeuteen kanava laivaliikennettä varten.
Postin kulku nopeutuisi, jos ottaisimme uudelleen käyttöön kuningatar Kristiinan vuonna 1638 vahvistaman postilain.

Maj-Lis Pitkäsen omakustanne Kalervo Palsan groteskin sarjakuvaklassikon “Eläkeläinen muistelee – harmaa komedia” englanninnoksesta on eittämättä vuosikymmenen tärkein kulttuuriteko.
Kittiläläisen omantien kulkijan, taiteilija Kalervo Palsan (1947-1987) töitä niin kauhisteltiin kuin ihasteltiinkin hänen elämänsä aikana.
Palsa ruoti kuvataiteessaan pääosin tabuina pidettyjä teemoja kuten elämän raadollisuutta, väkivaltaa, yksinäisyyttä, alkoholismia ja itsemurhaa.
Toistuvana punaisena lankana hänen taiteessaan oli erityisesti yhteen kietoutunut näkemys seksuaalisuudesta ja kuolemasta.
Elämänsä aikana taidepiirien unohtama, jo 40-vuotiaana ajasta ikuisuuteen siirtynyt, Palsa on kohonnut 2000-luvulla yhdeksi Suomen tutkituimmista ja arvostetuimmista kuvataiteilijoista.
Mutta vaikka Palsan maalaukset komistelevat lukuisien museoiden kokoelmissa, hänen sarjakuvatuotantonsa on jäänyt toivottua vähemmälle huomiolle.
“Memoirs of a Pensioner – a grey comedy” on Palsan häiriintynein työ.
Sarjakuva kertoo elämänsä ehtoopuolelle siirtyneestä Hannu Kolista, jonka tavanomainen ulkokuori kätkee sisäänsä synkän ja väkivaltaisen sadistin.
Palsan absurdi satiiri tarjoilee Kolin nekrofiiliset elämänvaiheet laimentamattomana, ja sen kuvaukset ihmismielen turmeltuneisuudesta ja perversioista jättävät varjoonsa jopa Markiisi de Saden ja William S. Burroughsin kieroutuneimmat visiot.

Vihattu ja rakastettu laulava cowboy on senkin jälkeen harvakseltaan esiintynyt julkisuudessa mm. pelaamassa golfia, laulamassa levylle ja näyttelemässä kesäteatterissa.
Nyt jo sarjakuvasankarinakin kypsään ikään ehtinyt reikäistä banjoa soittava trubaduurimme on päättänyt julkaista albumin muodossa painokelpoisimmat osat seikkailuistaan omituisista tapahtumistaan tunnetussa Suomessa. Monet heistä ovat Punaniskalle ja Suomen kansalle entuudestaan tuttuja ja toimivat samalla oppaina sahdinhuuruisessa rallissa, joka päätyy tuhansia järviä väistellen suuriin juhannusjuhliin.
Albumi sisältää kyseenalaista ja aikansa elänyttä huumoria aiheista, joiden olisi syytä levätä rauhassa. Syystä tai toisesta ne kuitenkin putkahtelevat esiin näinä levottomina aikoina yllättävissä paikoissa ja kulmakarvoja nostattavissa muodoissa.
