Emmi Valveen odotettu, upeasti kuvitettu sarjakuvakirja!
Polte on omaelämäkerrallinen teos seksuaalisuudesta.
Se käsittelee intiimien kanssakäymisten vaikeasti sanoitettavia harmaita alueita, oman seksuaalisuutensa hyväksymistä ja uskallusta lopulta olla vilpitön ja haavoittuvainen toisen ihmisen lähellä.
Emmi Valve (s. -84) on porvoolainen sarjakuvataiteilija. Polte on hänen neljäs sarjakuvakirjansa.
Hänen läpimurtoteoksensa Armo (Asema 2017) on ilmestynyt myös Ranskassa ja Ruotsissa.
Zum Teufel julkaisi kolmannen suomenkielisen painoksen kovakantisena 2023.
Jyrki Vainio: Kansalaistottelemattomuutta
Jyrki Vainion oivaltavat piirrokset ovat tuttuja monien lehtien lukijoille jo vuosikymmenten ajan.
Ne ovat sympaattiselta piirrostyyliltään helppolukuisia ja helposti lähestyttäviä, mutta harmittoman näköisen pinnan alla piilee piikkejä, jotka puhkovat maan mahtavien julkisuuskuvaa ja kaksinaismoralismia.
Piikit iskevät vuorollaan kaikkiin poliittisiin ilmansuuntiin.
Kansalaistottelemattomuutta kokoaa yhteen Vainion tuoreimpia piirroksia viime vuosilta, höystettynä ajattomammilla klassikoilla – ja eniten ärtymystä herättäneillä sivalluksilla.
Jyrki Vainio (s. 1977) on Rymättylässä syntynyt, pääkaupunkiseudulla asuva pilapiirtäjä ja sarjakuvantekijä.
Hänen piirroksiaan on julkaistu lehdissä säännöllisesti 17-vuotiaasta alkaen.
Niitä on viime vuosina nähty mm. Ilta-Sanomissa, Turun Sanomissa, Helsingin Sanomissa, Karjalaisessa, Länsiväylässä ja Vantaan Sanomissa.
Koulutukseltaan Vainio on taiteen maisteri.
Pertti Jarla: Jäätävä Spede – Retro-Spede
Fingerporin tekijän jäätävän hauskat muistelmat!
Fingerpori on oma vino maailmansa, mutta miten Pertti Jarla itse katsoo todellisuutta?
Muinaisella 1970-luvulla, kun Spede Pasanen etsi todisteita jääkauden olemattomuudesta, nuori Jarla pohti olevaisuutta nastolalaisella maatilalla.
Tästä syntyi Jäätävä Spede – sarjakuva, joka tutkii humoristin linssien läpi arkipäivän elämää.

Petteri Tikkanen: Black Peider – KOVA
Black Peiderin uusi kirja on KOVA!
Nimestään huolimatta se on piirretty pehmeälle vessapaperille.
Koronakeväänä 2020 kansalaisille tuli hätä, että vessapaperi loppuu kesken eristyksen.
Myös Black Peider hamstrasi muutaman rullan.
Pyyhkimisen sijaan hän piirsi niihin päiväkirjaa. Kahden vuoden aikana täyteen tuli viisi rullaa.
Peider kuvasi arkea rajoitusten keskellä, mediaa ja omia tunnelmiaan.
Ahdistava ajanjakso näyttäytyy sarjakuvapäiväkirjan arkeilla perin huvittana, jopa tragikoomisena.
WC-paperille piirtäminen oli hankalaa ja välillä, tilkitessään reikiä korjauslakalla umpeen, sarjakuvataiteilija tunsi itsensä ennemmin muurariksi kuin piirtäjäksi.
Erikoinen projekti kiinnosti myös medioita, ja mm. Yle uutiset teki jutun vessapaperille piirtävästä supersankaripainijasta.
Nyt nämä viisi täyteen piirrettyä rullaa on koottu sarjakuvakirjaksi.
KOVA on samalla Black Peiderin juhlakirja. Petteri Tikkasen (s. 1975) alter ego Black Peider esiintyi yleisölle ensimmäistä kertaa Kemin sarjakuvafestivaaleilla 25 vuotta sitten.
Leo Humina & Tuuli Humina: Utelias Varvas ja seikkailu maan alla
Utelias Varvas joutuu maan uumenissa jos jonkinlaiseen kiipeliin.
6-vuotiaan Leon ja hänen äitinsä yhteistyönä syntynyt sarjakuva on interaktiivinen seikkailu vailla vertaa.
Utelias Varvas putoaa yllättäen maan alle, ja pimeydessä häntä odottaa monenlaisia haasteita.
Kuinka löytää reitti sokkeloisten tunneleiden läpi, miten olla putoamatta laholta sillalta rotkoon tai päästä eteenpäin suljetusta ovesta.
Reipas ja hyväsydäminen Varvas joutuu suureen vaaraan, mutta saa myös hyviä ystäviä.

Siihen kuuluvat äiti ja isä, jotka eivät enää asu yhdessä, bestis ja muita ystäviä (nykyisiä ja entisiä), unelmia ja arkidraamaa.
