Hans Nissen (s. 1976) on kisaillut maailman hitaimman sarjakuvapiirtäjän tittelistä jo vuodesta 1992.
Siitä lähtien hän on vältellyt kutsumusammattiaan muun muassa kirjakauppiaana, kustantajana, kääntäjänä, graafisena suunnittelijana ja kuvittajana, mutta onnistunut vastoin odotuksia julkaisemaan kourallisen vaatimattomia omakustanteisia lehtiä, joista mainittavimpina Saatanan perkeleet (2016) sekä Sokea piste (2017).
Kastemadon ilo ja muita harmeja ilmestyi alunperin pehmeäkantisena omakustanteena 2021.

Aapo Kukko (s. 1991 Kemi) on oululaistunut sarjakuvantekijä, joka on erikoistunut syväluotaamaan maskuliinisten mielenmaisemien vesistöjä.

Fogeli & Ville Hänninen: Pekka Puupää – Alusta loppuun
Pekka Puupää oli alun alkaen sarjakuva osuuskauppaliikkeen lehdissä vuodesta 1925 alkaen.
Lehdillä oli paljon lukijoita ja sarja sai suuren suosion. Sarjaa julkaistiin suomeksi ja ruotsiksi.
Sarjaa julkaistiin albumeina 1940-luvulta 1970-luvulle saakka ja uusintoina 1990-luvulla. Kuitenkin uusinnat olivat pääosin Fogelin tyttären Toto Kailan piirtämiä.
Ville Hänninen kokoaa tässä kirjassa legendaarisen sarjakuvahahmon vaiheet 1920-luvulta taiteilijan kuolemaan 1952 saakka.
Teos paljastaa asioita niin hahmon synnystä, asuinpaikasta, Justiinan ja Pekan ensikohtaamisesta kuin sarjan suhteista aikansa politiikkaan ja osuuskauppaliikkeeseen.
